About GetTerms
GetTerms is a privacy compliance tool that combines a legal policy generator with a cookie banner and consent management platform. It says its policies are drafted by lawyers and are available in several languages, and it names GDPR and UK GDPR, CCPA and CalOPPA, PIPEDA, the Australian Privacy Principles and COPPA among the laws its paid tiers help with.
Plans are priced per website. At the time of checking, Starter, which includes a privacy policy and cookie policy, was $5 a month billed annually or $9 monthly. Business, which includes all legal policies, unlimited edits and regulation monitoring, was $8 a month billed annually or $12 monthly. Lifetime licences were listed at $199 for Starter and $249 for Business. A Partner plan for agencies is priced on request. GetTerms advertises a money back guarantee.
Policies are hosted in the GetTerms app so you can link to them, and they can also be embedded as HTML, added through a WordPress plugin with shortcodes, or copied into a content editor. The comparison table also lists Markdown and PDF.
